REVISION for test for MFTS
Hello all, below are 2 questions you may want to work on as preparation for your Lit test:- What is the MORAL of the story ?
- Discuss the THEME of GREED in MFTS. (How was this shown throughout the story through the CHARACTERS in the story)

-What is the MORAL of the story?
- i think that the moral of the story is not to bet on something without thinking of the concequences. This may cause us to loss something and cause us to have a lot of inconvenient in future. For example, if the sailr loss the bet , the oldish man will cut off his finger and when he go out people will make fun of him and he will cause to have regrets forever in his life.
-Discuss the THEME of GREED in MFTS. (How was this shown throughout the story through the CHARACTERS in the story
-the sailos is very greedy because he wanted the cadillic. He did not think of 'what if he lost the bet'. this shows that greediness had blind his eyes and heart.

nothing to write about crystal had written it all... but i hav sumthing to add...which is what u hav done will leave a impression of the rest of the life... the sailor may regret it once if he had found a use of his little finger, the people which know it like that english girl will also look down on the sailor as he could suffer himself for a cadillac wihich can be brought once you work hard for...

~The moral of the story is to treasure yourself and not regret afterwards.

~The Man's wife is very greedy. She bet until she is left with one finger and a thumb.

i do not really agree with Carrissa about the oldish man's wife. i donot really think that she is greedy ...maybe , she is being forced to have the bet ... and i agree with both crystal and patrick... the american sailor will regrate after he found a way to use his last finger... and eventually , this make him look stupid to bet a finger for a car...
